Sorbello’s of Chittenango, NY, is proud to announce the grand opening of their new Gift & Garden Center located in the recently constructed retail building on their existing property on Route 5 in the Village of Chittenango.

The grand opening event will officially kick off the Spring season for Sorbello’s and introduce their new facility to the public. “We are thrilled to open for the season with so many new and exciting things to offer our customers,” said John Sorbello, owner and working CEO of Sobello’s Gift & Garden Center and its subsidiaries. There will be product specials, food tastings, and giveaways at this event. The Grand Opening event will take place Saturday, April 24th and Sunday, April 25th, from 9:00 am– 7:00 pm.

The Gift & Garden Center will continue to offer a large selection of plants, flowers, and gardening accessories, and this year introduces the addition of a gift store. There is a garden theme throughout the interior of the Gift & Garden Center, complete with trees, plants and flowers. Items are merchandised throughout the store and the flexible displays allow reconfiguration according to the seasons. Right now, a Spring/Garden theme is featured, but this will change seasonally. “The objective of the Gift & Garden Center is to continually offer new products and ideas to our customers,” said Sorbello. The garden products featured in the store include: planting containers, fertilizers, seeds, gardening tools, gloves and other items relative to planting and growing vegetables and flowers. The giftware is a new concept at the garden center and features Pride of New York food products: BBQ sauces and rubs, salsas, jams, jelly, peanut butter, honey and chocolates. Other gift items such as candles, glassware, home décor products, hand cream, and handmade items are also available in the gift shop. For a more personalized gift, Sorbello’s also offers their customers the option to pick out items to create a gift basket.

Sorbello’s Gift & Garden Center also plans to host a variety of educational (interactive) seminars and events.

Sorbello’s has been in business for over 25 years. This business is seasonal, open from April to December. Sorbello’s features plants, flowers, and shrubs in the spring and summer months, and carries pumpkins and Christmas trees in the fall and winter.
